kratz00, I downloaded the ufoai for linux from the
loki installers page.
As I mentioned above, I run 'sh ufo.ai_2.0rc2-multilanguage.run' as USER, not as root. Do I have to be root to run the installer? Anyway, the installer run fine - so it seems since I got a message after about 20 mins of installation stating that the installation was successful.
The subdir /home/user/ufoai was created and these are the subdirectory & files installed by loki installer:
base/, ref_glx.so, ufoai, ufoded, uninstall, README, ref_sdl.so, ufo-bin, ufo.xpm
the files & subdir in the subdir base/:
default.cfg, i18n/, maps/, media/, music/, sound/, ufos/, game.so, keys.cfg, mapshots.cfg, models/, pics/, texture/
As USER (and also as root) when I typed 'ufoai' in the bash shell, I got this error:
- Code: Select all
$ ufoai
bash: ufoai: command not found
I must have missed something.
