Wolfenstein running problem

Hello everybody.

I installed Return to Castle Wolfenstein with loki multilanguage pack. But I am not able to start the game after installation cause it tells me this:

Sys_Error: Couldn't load default.cfg - I am missing essential files - verify your installation?

On the original cd is not any default.cfg file.

Please, can you help me find solution for my problem.

no, installation was ok. I dont know, why there is not the default.cfg.

in your installdir
there is a subdirectory called main

is there a pak0.pk3?

No, there is not pak0.pk3 file.

Maybe its the file missing to run wolf. Do you know how to get that file from my cd? I have original wolf cd. I cannot locate pak0.pk3 file on the cd.

yes, there is no pak0.pk3 file.

Here is full log i got from the installer. These errors are identical for normal user as well as for root. And i repeat, i have original cd, not any copy. One more information for you. I tryed also one installer from activision(70MB) with the same result.

yeah the tool to extract the wise archive failed like i said
we know about it but i don't have the time to fixed it at the moment

There is file called INSTALL read it!

Well, the problem is that the installer is not able to open the setup.exe file correctly. So it finds some files on the CD and maybe also inside the setup.exe. But if fails to locate pak0.pk3 and other files inside the original package.

To be able to play Wolfenstein, i had to install the game under xwine(cedega) and then copy the pak files into directory, your installer created.
