From www.hardocp.com
DirectX 9.0c For FreeBSD:
Something everyone overlooked when DirectX 9.0c redistributable was released last month, the release also includes FreeBSD as a supported OS. You alternative OS guys will be interested in this one. Thank Tom Jordan for pointing this out.

This download provides the DirectX 9.0c end-user multi-languaged redistributable that developers can include with their product. The redistributable license agreement covers the terms under which developers may use the Redistributable. Supported Operating Systems: FreeBSD.

LOL, that will be the day MS releases its own Linux distro

cant find a word about BSD support here..correct me if i am wrong

There wont be any more DX or D3d anymore though

MS is going for WNG driver (Windows next generation graphic driver)
And i bet they will monopolize that graphic system too i bet.
Dont expect any handouts from MS...too the open source community
