You guys rock. OUT LOUD.

Y'know it isn't always that people skilled enough to do it the hard way go way out of thier way to make it easy for those that will follow. You folks are the exception.

On behalf of everyone with an old Loki game and everyone who has trouble with installation under wine: I salute you.

Side Note: I notice there was no Loki Installer for Heretic2....old game but still fun. I wrote an article on how to make it work in a modern Linux system that can be found at http://www.freelink.cx . I'll be writing an article about you guys as soon as my review of Kubuntu is finished.

Thank you very much indeed!

I will check how Heretic2 behaves on my new LFS system and maybe we will see a new installer soon :)

Keep us up-to-date about your article.

PS:

The link to http://www.bestpricing.net is broken/down in your Heretic2 article.

Broken link? I was afraid of that. That was the last place I could find that still had the game. I'll see if I can source it elsewhere. Thanks for letting me know.

No problem. I can imagine it is nearly impossible to get a original box from Loki's Heretic2 nowadays but good luck.
