Quake 2 => Yamagi Quake 2

The Quake 2 installer should be updated to Yamagi Quake 2:

It works great and fixes a lot of bugs. It even supports fake CD audio using ogg vorbis files which is very handy for those of us without optical drives (in netbooks etc).

hi mimox,

we know about Yamagi and it's already on our todo list.

Stay tuned :)

I tried Yamagi about 2 weeks ago too. Works great, not a single problem, vorbis playback is a nice addition. This old engine (and namely Quake1) reminded me why I don't like that micro-stutter-60hz-lock-playability-missing Doom3 behemoth. :)

So, has anyone looked into making a new install with this at all recently?
