Savage install
mount /media/cdrom

cd /media/cdrom
sh INSTALL.linux
if you get this:
bash: ./INSTALL.linux: /bin/sh: bad interpreter: Permission denied
your cdrom ist mounted with noexec
mount
/dev/hdd on /media/cdrom type iso9660 (ro,noexec,nosuid,nodev)
then try this
cd /media
sh cdrom/INSTALL.linux
and follow the screens

btw: my Version comes with only one cd for windows and linux install

Ah, I know this, too. Savage for Kinux has no installer, it is just a file transfer from cd to hd. Furthermore, it is hard to find out how to start this game then, but this is another story.

As far as I remember, I started the installer of the latest patch, what extracts some files to /tmp, and there you'll find a file that has to be changed.

I will reinstall savage and the updates during this days, and may tell you more then.

It woukd be nice it the loki installer would behave better, though.
