error with troopers dawn of destiny

Post by arganot » Sun May 07, 2006 18:20

hi all i'm still new to linux and cant seem to get troopers dawn of destiny to run?? the mod installs o.k. and the installer tells me everything installed with no problems but when i go to my ut2004 directory and try to run troopers i get this message:
troopers: line 26: exec: ut2004: not found

all other mods that i have installed work great just troopers gives this error

any suggestions???

i'm running Fedora core 5.......ut2004 plays great no problems
i used the loki installer for this mod its this desription:::
troopers_5.0-english.run
not sure if there is a problem with the installer because all others work good

thanks for any help

I removed the exec in front of ut2004 in line 26 and i now get this message:

troopers: line 26: ut2004: command not found

thanks for all of your help on this......i'm not sure what the problem may be...still new with linux

p.s. piddly gives the same error

also my ut2004 is installed in this directory tree.....

/home/GNG/ut2004

not sure if that makes a difference or not

:D :D :D

it does
the startscripts of the mods are in the same directory like the ut2004 startscript?

it should be like that and you could try

sh ./ut2004 instead of exec ut2004
