Hi,

i have dl the installer from youre site. the install process was working really fine :-).

I have installed Doom3 to
/Windows/Daten/Spiele/Doom3 (a large (300 GIG) Fat32 Drive)
the reason is, that i dont wont to install the games on every system to another drive.

Im running
SuSE 10.1 (Kernel 2.6.16.21-0.25-smp)
ATI 6.9.0 Driver
Wine 0.9.22

When i try to start "Doom3" there is an Error
"Keine Berechtigung" (no permission!) (first i tried su - but this wont help)

I hope you can help me - i would really like to play this game!

thx a lot

you can't install doom3 for linux in a fat32 partition... because fat32 doesn't have execution permissions... there are workarounds, but I can't find any easy way to explain here... sorry :(

You can try to install it twice (once for each system) then replace the data directories on your linux partition by symlinks to matching directories on the fat32 partition. Verify there's no diferencies between the data directories before replacing them. It's safer to rename the linux directories before the test and if it works then you can delete them.
That's not working for everything but as I said : you can try.
