dont think it's negative criticism.. wasnt meant that way..
i was just wondering if it does something special or does it just decompress the files?

and well.. it generates shortcuts in kdemenu :)

nothing special, just a nice installer

maybe Gladiac was terribly bored and so he decided to make a nexuiz installer :)

well ok :)

can the loki installer be used to install games systemwide for no special user?
because that would be a nice reason for me to use them :D

depends on the software

e.g. ut2004 no problem, it stores user specific data in ~/.ut2004/

e.g. cube big problem the user needs write access in installdirectory and
also user x and user y have to share one config file

got it?

The original zip file contains 64 bit binaries, does the Loki installer automaticly choose the right binarie ?
Is there a way to check wich binarie is installed on my system ? (AMD64)
I would like to check it.

the installer tries to chose the right binary depending on your system architecture

just do a "file nexuiz-sdl" to check if the installer is right
